Thunder Center Nerlens Noel Suffers Concussion
Injury Update
Oklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel has sustained a concussion, the team announced today.
Noel suffered the injury during the Thunder's game against the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. He left the game in the fourth quarter after being hit in the head by Kings forward Marvin Bagley III.
Noel is currently undergoing concussion protocol and will be re-evaluated in the coming days. There is no timetable for his return.
The Thunder are currently 7-19 on the season and are in last place in the Western Conference. Noel has been a key part of the Thunder's rotation, averaging 9.4 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
